Family pictures

On Sunday our friend and photographer, Kara, drove from The Woodlands to Sugar Land to take our family pictures.  

It was a chilly morning and my family was all running behind because we just didn't want to get up.  Much to my amazement we managed to get ready just in the nick of time.

Once Kara got here, we talked about some ideas we had and looked at potential locations for the pictures.  We went through some clothing options and made our choices - it was time to get down to business.

Those of you who know us well, know that we are pretty relaxed and love to make our pets feel like part of the family.  Let me tell you, they all made their presence known and weren't shy in joining in the fun.

Even though Charleigh started melting down, we still managed to get some really good shots.  We gave her a break and worked on the babies for awhile before we brought Charleigh back into the picture.

All in all, it was a great morning and I couldn't wait to see our sneak peeks.  As I suspected, they didn't disappoint.  Now I'm anxiously awaiting the full gallery of the shoot - I'm sure they're phenomenal!
