7 Months Already?
As of December 21st, our little princess is now 7 months old.
Age: 7 months
Weight: 13 pounds
Sleeping: Charleigh is currently sleeping almost 12 hours at night and naps for roughly an hour during the day. Most of these naps are in the form of cat naps, but we're working on real naps.
Eating: Charleigh is still taking between 4-6 ounces of formula ever 3-4 hours. She's not a big eater, but if she wants more, she always gets it. She gets a bowl of hypo-allergenic rice cereal at dinner and we've started introducing vegetables. Fruits will be added shortly. In order to reduce contact with any potential allergens, I'm making most all of Charleigh's food myself.
Favorite Food: Neocate formula, hypo-allergenic rice cereal, mashed sweet potatoes, pureed peas and green beans.
Likes: being the center of attention, noise, music, animals, and Disney Junior
Dislikes: Tummy time (we've pretty much given up at this point, especially since she's got great neck control), nap time, getting strapped into her car seat, and diaper changes.
Favorite Things: Jumper-roo, "Big Dog" (Elijah), blanky, stuffed Lambie, barf rags, and her feet.
Making Mom & Dad Smile: Everything. Particularly when she looks at us and gives us her big grin and shows her double-dimples!

You were the missing puzzle piece in our lives. You make us better people just by being in our lives. We love you more than you can ever imagine. Yes, you can irritate us and make us consider pulling out every last hair on our head - but we wouldn't change it for anything. You are the best thing that has ever happened to us. We often wonder how in the world we got the sweetest, most beautiful, perfect baby girl in the universe. God made you especially for us and we are so blessed to have you in our lives.
