Meet Baby A - Campbelle Rose

Baby A, our trouble maker, was Campbelle Rose.  She was cephalic the entire pregnancy and was quite a low-rider.  Just three days prior to her arrival, I was 2-3cm dilated and the nurse was able to touch her head.  (Yikes!). Campbelle was also the antsy one that was constantly moving.
At birth she weighed in at 4 pounds 5 ounces, and she was the one who was in a rush to meet us all.  Her birth was frightening, as she was in severe respiratory distress and was rushed out of the room immediately upon her arrival.
Despite that rough start, she thrived in the nicu - she was the first to regulate body temperature, the first to have her feeding tube removed, maintained her weight and even gained some, and was the first to be discharged.
She is our spirited child, and looks just like her daddy (with the exception of my hair - poor girl - and nose.).
We have been asked how we came up with her name - we obviously like 'C' names and like what we consider 'unisex' names.  We loved the name Campbell, but not for a boy, so we decided to add that e to feminize it (just like we did with Charleigh's name).  Her middle name was chosen because we like simple, old fashioned names - and, quite frankly, because it's also the middle name of one of my role models.  (And the name of somebody else who is very special to me)
So, what are Campbelle's nicknames?! Belle, Cami, and Rosie.  But, she's also a micro machine. Lol
Since getting her home we've definitely learned that she is spirited and spunky, and sometime smells kind of funky.  She's a very sloppy eater and is very loved, even when she's being difficult.  She's still a very tiny girl, weighing in at 6 pounds 7 ounces at 5 weeks old.  She is our good sleeper at night, and our mini-pee master.  We love her to the moon & back.
