3 months

My sweet little munchkins are 3 months old now.  I cannot believe how fast they are growing and I really wish time would slow down some.  Thankfully, I can find comfort in their adjusted age - 9 weeks old.

Campbelle Rose -

Campbelle is getting bigger and weighs around 8.5 pounds these days.  She is still in Newborn clothing, but can wear some 0-3 month clothes.  She wears size 1 diapers, but they do tend to be a little big on her so she could probably wear Newborn diapers.  Campbelle smiled for the first time just last week and it was such a sweet sight coming from our cratchety, serious girl.  She has also recently started to coo.  As for food, she's still eating every 3-4 hours during the day, but if she's napping I don't wake her up.  She recently started taking 5 ounces of Alimentum at a time.  Campbelle still struggles with minor reflux (no need for treatment) and gas, and it appears she's trying to cut her first tooth. (Seriously, what is it with my kids & teeth?!). She is our good nighttime sleeper and will sleep 7 hours at a time, without being swaddled! (She recently starting rolling over so it was time to discontinue swaddling.) We love you Belley-Boo!

Coleson Richard -

Coleson is quickly becoming much bigger than his sister, he's filling out well and weighs almost 10 pounds!  Newborn clothes are starting to get small on him, and the 0-3 months fits him much better.  Little man wears size 1 diapers, though sometimes they look a bit big on him.  Coleson started smiling two weeks a ago & hasn't really stopped since then!  You'll get the biggest grins when you tell him he's handsome or ask him if he's a lady's man. He also coos up a storm. :). He is doing much better sitting in ugly frog chair and loves to show off just how strong he is.  Unfortunately, the sweet little man has some pretty bad reflux which can make for a very grumpy Coleson as well as some very long days for Mommy.  He is on his third medicine for reflux (now on Nexium) along with Neocate formula.  The little dude reeks of acid & dirty pennies constantly.  (And he goes through so many outfits a day)  like his sister, he sleeps fairly well, but does best in a 75-80 degree room. (Yuck!  I'm sweating just thinking about it). We love you, little man!
